    X. Association Institutions

    World Assembly

    27.  The World Assembly shall convene once every four years, on a date and at a location to be determined by the executive committee, provided that the Assembly shall take place in Israel.  Invitations shall be sent to all members at least six months before the date set. In addition, notices shall be sent to all members at least 60 days before the conference stating the agenda of the Assembly, or, alternatively, shall direct members to a location where the agenda is publicized.

    28.  All members are entitled to attend the Assembly, but only delegates shall have the right to vote at the Assembly. The delegates will be elected by their local chapters prior to the Assembly, and will be voted in as delegates at the Assembly.

    29.  The IMA WF Executive Committee shall be solely responsible for carrying out decisions of the World Assembly.

    30.  The functions of the World Assembly shall include 

    a. election of officers 

    b. conducting of scientific, business and social programs as proposed by the Executive Committee

    c. revision of bylaws

    d. approval of fundamental decisions taken between meetings of the  World  Assembly.

    e. other functions as shall be decided upon by the Executive Committee from time to time.
