2014 Grants Ceremony

This year 16 scholarships were awarded to excellent physicians who are beginning fellowship programs around the world. The scholarships, in the amount of 16,000 NIS each, were raised from the following organizations: The Israeli Medical Association, Organization of State Employee Physicians (OSEP), the Organization of Clalit physicians, Rambam Medical Center, Sheba Medical Center, and Sheba Medical Center Physicians’ Committee.

The members of the scholarship committee, who decided who of the 65 applicants would receive the scholarships are:

  • Dr. Zeev Feldman
  • Dr. Tami Karni
  • Dr. Esther Barshilon
  • Dr. Haim Neiman

According to Israeli Medical Association World Fellowship (IMA WF) tradition, every scholarship awarded was in honor of a physician who passed away. The deceased physicians dedicated their lives to treat patients, teach younger physicians, and develop medical research both in Israel and around the world.
