Section 16

In sub-section C the words “it is not possible, according to the Director General of the Center…” should be removed. The last part, that we request to delete, grants the Director General of the National Transplant Center the authority to issue an order to cancel a transplant in the said medical center. We maintain that the Director General of the National Transplant Center is not authorized to issue such an order. When there is authorization of a local assessment committee to perform a transplant it is unnecessary to wait for additional authorizations. The Director General of the National Transplant Center should no doubt be informed about the transplant, but we oppose granting him the authority to intervene in the managerial authority of the hospital performing the transplant.
