Position Papers

The medical ethics rules, based on fundamental values of medical ethics, supplement the legal regulations and instructions established by the state. These ethical guidelines set a standard of moral conduct and derive their authority from the medical community itself, which has validated and committed to adhering to them. These rules define and shape the professional identity and culture of doctors in relation to their patients and society at large.

Medical ethics is dynamic, and thus the guidelines are periodically updated and renewed. Below are the position papers published by the Ethics Committee in recent years on various topics.
