On December 9th-11th, the WMA held the Declaration of Helsinki meeting at the Hilton Hotel, in Tel Aviv. Leading members and associate members of the WMA were in attendance (in person and virtually) to discuss the various aspects of the declaration, followed by a workgroup meeting. The World Medical Association (WMA) developed the Declaration of Helsinki as a statement of ethical principles for medical research involving human subjects, including research on identifiable human material and data.
