The IMA-WF has active chapters throughout the world that conduct local activities and promote WF activities. Each chapter elects a chairperson who represents the chapter members in official IMA activities. The chapters also welcome young Israeli physicians participating in fellowship programs and invite guest lecturers from Israel. Currently,  there are World Fellowship chapters in: Argentina, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Denmark, France, Germany, Holland, Italy, New Zealand, Panama, Sweden, Switzerland, Uruguay, the UK and the USA.
