17.  Membership in the IMA-WF may be on an individual basis or through membership in one of the IMA-WF chapters or affiliate organizations.

18.  Medical doctors with a valid medical license in their country of practice, medical students, and members of allied medical professions (including, but not limited to, dentists, osteopaths, chiropractors, podiatrists, nurses, psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists) and biomedical scientists in healthcare or academia are eligible to submit an application to join as members of the IMA-WF. Members are entitled to all benefits of membership, including the right to vote and to be elected to institutions of the IMA-WF. Rights exclusive to physicians, to be determined from time to time by the executive board, shall be limited to physician members.
